BackTomo was created by artist and linguist Vanesa Longchamp as a celebration of creativity, comfort and the simple joys that make everyday life feel a little brighter. Inspired by a lifelong love of anime, kawaii culture, pastel aesthetics, her experiences travelling around Korea and Japan, and her current life in Seoul, BackTomo brings together art, fashion and storytelling to create pieces that inspire warmth, nostalgia and self-expression.

The name BackTomo comes from the phrase 'back tomorrow', a message Vanesa used to leave during her street art days. Over time, those words took on a deeper meaning: returning to art, returning to creativity, and returning to the things that bring joy and comfort. BackTomo represents that journey back to oneself—a reminder that no matter where life takes us, we can always come back to what we love.
